Veterinary care, particularly advanced care, can be expensive. In some instances, the costs may seem to be out of reach. One method used by people to afford the cost is credit cards. But interest payments owed to credit cards companies can make payments challenging. Is there a solution?
Some people have addressed these concerns by transferring their credit card balance to a credit card interest that charges no interest for a trial period. This does not eliminate the obligation to repay the debt. In fact, most companies charge a fee to transfer the balance. But once that has been done, the debt can be paid down without the fear that the debt will grow (for the introductory period).
The trick? Make sure that the minimum payment is made every month, or the 0% rate will leap up to a normal or even high rate. In addition, make sure that applying for another card is correct for you. This site cannot determine whether this approach makes sense for a particular individual.
The CitiBank Simplicity Card (at the time of this blog post) offers a 0% interest rate for qualified applicants and qualified balance transfers for 21 months. You can explore this option in the link above right.
